Construction Contracts Administrator Projects
Currently performing Construction Contracts Administrator for (3) laboratory projects of varying scope and size, totaling $13.5M. All (9) previously managed projects, totaling $12M, were delivered on time and budget with minimal contingency use.
Enabling Project
Provided project management services on $5M enabling project to free up 12,000+ SF of occupied space for a follow-up project. Space was occupied by 15 different groups, each with their unique mission requirements. The groups had to be relocated to other locations throughout the Lab, and many required construction prior to their relocation. Due to the scarcity of swing space at the lab, many of the moves were dependent on the previous occupant moving out before a new occupant could move in. Communication to the 100+ occupants and management was key.
Clean Room and Labs Project
Provided project management services for an $18M, 10,000 SF secure clean room, labs, and associated offices and support rooms. Oversaw the project through clean room certification, substantial completion, Punchlist, contractor closeout and occupancy move-in. Utilized AutoCAD BIM 360 to manage the closeout process.
GENZYME
Served as Construction Contract Administrator for this LEED® Silver, 270,000 SF GMP biotech warehouse with labs, clean rooms, and offices. Tracked, routed, and managed meeting minutes, action items, RFIs, Submittals, ASRs, PCOs, Cos, and other project documentation. Effectively managed information and communications to support project schedules and provide overall organization.
CHARLES RIVER LABS
Facilitated the administration of a 60,000 SF fit-out to accommodate new laboratory space and to increase operational efficiency. Developed, evaluated and monitored reports on project financials and schedules. Coordinated external team member efforts with the overall design.
CELL SIGNALING TECHNOLOGY
Provided Construction Contract Administrator services for the renovation and expansion of Cell Signaling Technology’s Beverly, MA 90,000 SF support facility. This 2-phased project entailed 22,000 SF of laboratory and office space during Phase 1. Phase 2 included 68,000 SF of new research and production laboratories with administrative and support areas including freezer and cold rooms, media/buffer prep area, and a cafeteria.
ENTEGRIS- I2M CENTER
Served as Construction Contract Administrator for this 80,000 SF remodeling project. To consolidate their Greater Boston operations, project scope included combining approximately 100 employees into the New Bedford facility. A leading R&D and manufacturing center for filtration media, electrostatic clamps, and low-temperature coatings, the i2M Center includes multiple clean rooms and large manufacturing areas and received new building and waste treatment systems..
MILLENNIUM PHARMACEUTICALS
Performed multiple lab renovations, corporate office and conference space renovations as well as provided re-stacking and relocation services. The work was completed under an architectural house doctor contract.
